Broadcasted nationally in the US under a 3 year contract with IFC. 

Creative note: in 2004, when the Bush administration made a first attack on women's reproductive rights, I was new to the American soil, but I was paying attention. As a Romanian born under the communism, I had to tell this tale about women's beauty, complexity and resilience. Unfortunately, as a first Eastern European  woman to attend the Columbia University MFA program, most of my teachers wanted me to make a film about the Romanian Revolution that happened a decade before. I politely declined and created Still Center. Over a decade later, this film stays relevant, and is rediscovered by new generations of women on both US and Europe.
